 I grew up watching my mother cook. The smell of her homemade chicken soup filling the house on a Sunday afternoon is something I have never been able to duplicate — and honestly, I am not sure I want to. Some things are meant to live in memory.

My dad used to bring home delicatessen from all over the state for us to try. On weekends, no one left the table until he finished his coffee. That was the rule. Because that time together mattered.

Those memories were not made in a living room. They were made in a kitchen. That is why I do this work.

I spent 20 years in business development and nonprofit leadership before I made the leap into cabinetry. People thought I was crazy.
